    • BIOGRAPHY: On November 29, 1720 acquired land in Simsbury, west of the river, from James Cornish. However, it was not until about 1747 that they brought their family to West Simsbury, now Canton, and settled on land at the corner of what was then,m and still is, the Albany-Hartford Road (route #44) and Lovely Street (route #177 in the Suffrage District
